The Westover Group is celebrating following a series of award wins for brands within the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) portfolio.

The brands under the FCA portfolio that Westover Group represents are Fiat, Jeep, Abarth and Alfa Romeo.  Both the Fiat Panda Cross and the Jeep Wrangler have been acknowledged in the 4×4 magazine ‘4×4 of the Year 2019 awards’, and the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio 2.9 V6 Bi-Turbo 510 Q4 also achieved award recognition from an industry magazine.

In the 4×4 of the Year awards the Fiat Panda Cross fought of tough competition to be crowned winner in the Best Crossover category for the second year running.  A crossover is a hatchback car crossed with a sport utility vehicle (SUV) design all rolled in to one, and judges praised the Fiat Panda Cross for its off-road ability due to its light-weight making it manoeuvrable on rough ground.  The Jeep Wrangler was commended in the Off-Road award category, with every model built for serious terrain.

The What Car? awards acknowledged the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio 2.9 V6 Bi-Turbo 510 Q4 as a winning Sports SUV.   What Car? is known for its thoroughness when assessing new cars, with all vehicles driven back-to-back with their rivals on road and track, and practicality, equipment, running costs and fuel economy are all factored into the final verdicts.

Mark Whittam, group operations director at the Westover Group, says: “Award recognition is always a great achievement, and at Westover we are pleased to be able to make first-class, award-winning car brands available to drivers on competitive car finance packages.”
