New Park Manor, part of the Luxury Family Hotels collection, will re-open its doors in April 2024 following a significant renovation.

The New Forest property is located just outside Brockenhurst and is just 12 minutes drive from the New Forest National Park. The resort has been going through a full refurbishment of all of its 25 rooms and main public areas including The Vinery and Stag restaurant spaces, an impressive family-friendly spa and a number of children’s facilities such as the Four Bears Den children’s club which is Ofsted registered and approved.

Luxury Family Hotels operates 5 different family hotels in the South-West of England including Cornwall, Suffolk and Wiltshire and is a sister company to the famous The Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire.

The design of the New Park Manor renovation is being carried out by the impressive team at StudioJill who have produced superb results at other Luxury Family Hotel results including Fowey Hall and Moonfleet Manor, which both relaunched in 2023.

StudioJill’s inspiration comes from the property’s roots as King Charles II’s hunting lodge and ancient New Forest folklore, working with a range of Autumnal woodland hues and earthy tones.

The family-friendly spa which caters to children as young as 3 years old with their newly introduced ‘Little ishga’ treatments, will emulate clean, Scandi-inspired design, creating a serene setting for the whole family.

Set back from the outdoor pool, the expansive spa terrace introduces two new hot tubs and a snug with floor-to-ceiling glass windows for the very best view of the New Forest.

Back inside, the spa will benefit from the addition of a new Somadome – a technology-enabled meditation pod.

Inspired by the forest and woodland, the hotel rooms and suites feature a mix of textured fabrics and patterned wallpaper and incorporates a playful use of nooks and secret spaces, designed with children and toddlers in mind.

The Vinery Restaurant located next to the reception, blends rustic charm with a modern design. Filled with natural light, the space will feature an earthy range of green, brown, rust, and weathered oak, creating a calming space for guests to enjoy breakfast and afternoon tea. The Stag Restaurant and Bar, offers a mix of country style and richer textures and will provide a more formal experience for evening cocktails and dinner.

Throughout the property’s design, guests will notice a subtle homage to Alice in Wonderland, with whimsical mushrooms painted on the walls and checks dotted around – this is particularly the case in the gorgeous new kid’s club, The Four Bears Den.
