Poole Business Improvement District (BID) hosted its first Wellness Day in the town centre on Saturday, June 1, for more than 800 visitors to the town centre.
A range of business in the health and wellbeing sector were involved, such as Poole Enviroteers, Livewell Dorset, Barbara Cox Nutrition, Nuffield Health and more.
Justin Hundley-Appleton, Poole BID manager, commented: “It’s so important to keep track of your health and wellbeing, and by finding out the different organisations we have on our doorsteps will help to manage this going forwards.
“We’d like to extend our thanks to all the weekend’s exhibitors and businesses that took part and helped everyone to gain a greater understanding of what is involved.”
Visitors were encouraged to take part in a range of activities including CPR workshops provided by Nationwide, make bath bombs with Lush and children were able to learn circus skills with Jamie Jigsaw.
